Friday's Workshop

We started today running the same kind of activities as the workshop in January. The Yann Arthus Bertrand and Earth From The Air websites were our inspiration; we made very quick thumbnail drawings from the images, looking at the shapes and forms from the aerial photographs. These sketches then formed the basis for monoprints and glueless collages which were photographed as digital source material for later development in Photoshop. The beauty of these initial activities is that they are very quick and produce loose and immediate results.
